Birthday Celebration!

My favorite hangout whipped up an amazing new chef, who whips up beautiful organic salads...

...just for little ol' me. I quietly reflected on my last day of 40 while nibbling this.

Then I vowed to go back the very next day (today!), for my birthday dish.

Which was this...two days in a row...(I know!).

But I tried to make up for it with lots of this (liver cleanse, and all). :o)

Add in sleeping in, washing lots of laundry (fresh bedding!), a hot shower, girl gabbing about boys and local politics, birthday wishes in restaurants, sipping locally grown organic tomato basil soup, more girl gabbing about boys and local politics, birthday wishes in parking lots, an attempt to find a birthday gift for myself (yet didn't, and that was okay!), drying laundry, this lovely food, more wonderful conversation all night, forgetting to take a birthday photo yet making up for it by drawing my own homemade birthday card while gabbing on the phone and eating coconut ice cream. I feel so blessed and content...
